I beat the Hiver Queen by using Mindswap. I'm not sure if it actually swapped with it or just stunned it, but I rushed with the rest of my minions while the mindswap seemed to occupy it.
Beat the SB by Group Thinking a whirlybird. Basically turned Codas guardians on herself. Poor Coda.
Getting to the shuttle: threw a turtle with float over the ledge and stood on it.
Hiver queen: got an army of howlers to kill the hivers, then approached the queen with mindswap.
Getting to the SB: made a turtle with flight, then stood on its back and used waypoints to get out there.
The Securitron took me the longest, because I didn't have parasite yet when I first encountered it. I tried a lot of useless things (including a bunch of mushrooms and the mushroom wizard, but i guess it's been buffed since that worked easily). Finally I went away, solved some other puzzles, and came back and killed it with parasite.
Key : got it with a dog-creature and tractor beam, aggroing the key - didn't even realize that "float" was actually good for anything :p
SB : Three Turtles with flight and railgun and group thinking, aggroing WB. Riding one is fun, having a little formation of them is great.
Yah, the way that room is set up it strongly hints that you mind swap with a rat. But thats not do able, for two reasons, 1. you dont have abilitys for the mind swap to swap with. and 2. the origial body, the rat, dies as soon as you transfer to it. It was one of the few puzzles I had to just give up on and came back later when I had the tools to solve it.
Getting the key: edited the key and made it move to the hero(why go to the key when you can make the key move to you)
Getting past the lava, got on my rock and had it walk past the lava.(yay rocks)
Getting to the SB: Railgun pet and then used rock to fly there(called my rock air ship)
After that, I gave a turtle fly from a whirlybird and just let it bump around riding it till I was over the key. After that I got shield other from the mushroom wizard and just had a bunch of stuff attack the securotron and kill it. Just had a bunch of creatures melee the hive queen. Then I gave railgun and fly to the wizard, allied him with normal mushrooms, and set a rock with ally mushroom and wizard to follow the wizard around with shield other.
Here's where I felt proud at first, but dumb immediately after. I got to the sky bastard by telling my flying mushrooms to go out to the first floating island, then gave float to the rock tossed it within edit range of the wizard, and took back fly, letting them stand on the island, gave fly to the rock, had it move partway to the second island, gave it float, gave fly back to the wizard, and so on until I got all the way to the main platform. Afterwards I realized it would have been easier to just give the rock fly and groupthink with the mushrooms and ride it all the way there... Oh well, at least everyone was shielded when I got there.
Then again, I just brute-forced the Hive Queen, since I had a massive army of minions by that point. It was more entertianing watching them swarm bad guys than attempting a "clever" solution to the problem.
Doing the SB was a bit more onerous because, using Hivemind + Flying Howers + Railgun, I ghosted Coda and Whirlys from the far side. Which left the problem of getting over to them. I ended up on a platform halfway across the gulf, unable to continue, then added Tractor Beam to whatever critter I'd used as a teleport pad to bring Coda over to me after I de-ghosted her.
(Her outraged "This is NOT my chosen vector!!!" made me giggle.)
