Tera Host_WindowLoadTimeOut

Installed Tera today to give it a try again since the last time I played the game was back when it was in beta.

everything has installed fine.
I have done the check game files three time.
I have done a google search about the problem and they say it is in issue with not running on ip4, yet I am on ip4

Just wanted to give the game another go. Thanks in adance

Gameforge now hosts all TERA content (NA, EU, etc.).

Manual transfer of EnMasse accounts (NA servers) had to occur before Dec 18th or you have lost all content.

You can still play through Steam, but there is a different version using Gameforge client.

You will need to uninstall the old EnMasse version from Steam and download the correct Gameforge version from Steam.

You also have to hit play and select NA server when launching.

If you simply load from recently played games or after downloading it will auto select the EU servers - you have to go to the Tera page on Steam and hit play or find what launch options to put into properties.

There is currently a free DLC download for a free gift also available through Steam.

BASICALLY THIS IS VERSION THAT DOESN'T WORK AND IS STILL ON STEAM, YOU GOTTA INSTALL THIS ONE (https://store.steampowered.com/app/212740/TERA__Action_MMORPG/)

Same issue ... validated game files, re-installed, turned off firewall and antivirus ... nothing works, game will not launch

bumping this to say wow, thanks for that, i would have never realized that MY copy of Tera which i downloaded on steam years ago was different from the current copy of Tera on steam. Thanks! (the steam store link doesn't work though)
