"User Authentication Failed"

Alright, so I just downloaded Tera and made an account. But when I try to log in, it gives me a "User Authentication Failed" message. I am on my laptop, in the US. But when I had someone else try my log in from a different location, it worked fine for them. They were on a desktop, also in the US. Help?
