But you dont need to use spacebar and I really recommend not using any chain button for most combos its better to just use the hard key set you have for it. Especially since some dungeon mechanics require you to jump
The game was really easy but now that I have reached level 15, it's becoming tough. Some monsters aggro me even though I didn't attack them.
Yet I have a free 3 day elite / privilege access to help me...
I guess XP boost 50% is my curse: my character level rises too fast compared to my player skill...
The game usually defaults to combos that take advantage of this, though some of them are more suggestions than anything, since not -every- skill activates faster after another.
You can change this settings by opening up the Chain Skills dialogue by pressing K on the keyboard, clicking chained skills and then setting it at the bottom. I use Tab, though others use different keys.
In addition, you might discover that some of the suggested skill chains are not optimal for doing DPS (with a reaper, my DPS improves by at least 33% when go from auto-chain to manual chaining).
Manual chaining, you mean you do the same combo with the use of space bar / tab ? Then what is the purpose of auto-chain with space bar ?
Why do I hit the skills manually instead of using the chain key? It's quicker. Much quicker. Take the warrior combo of Combative Strike -> Traverse Cut -> Blade Draw. If I use the chain key, I have to wait half a second for the prompt to appear and hit the chain key to execute the next skill in the chain. Doing it manually cuts out those two half seconds I have to wait for that prompt to appear, meaning I can (because I like to tank) build up aggro even quicker.
For the Archer, the combos are made of 2 skills only. Can I add more ?
Only some skills can combo into eachother. Additionally, chaining more than 2-3 skills together like this is usually a very bad idea unless they have quicker execution following a certain skill since this can leave you standing still too long out of habit or lazyness.
Archer doesn't get many skills that flow into eachother, so you are best off just executing most of them manually so that you are in full control of when to attack and when to move, with each decision being intentional.
So I use the numbers 1-5 and C for skills. Never 6 or above. And F1 to F12 only for potions.
As you suggest, I'll add Z,X and Q. And R. Perhaps V.
I dont know if shift, caps lock and Tab can be used.
