more or less its coz the other races have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ range/movement/hit detection for attacks and skills, Elins shine here
That stat is pretty much useless in my experience, as I always seem to take so much damage that it doesn't matter whether I have the 10% reduction racial or not.
Warriors are surprisingly low on the DPS/damage scale, due to the hybrid nature of the class.
It's the exact same thought pattern when people in WoW constantly asked why gnomes ran so fast in comparison to draenei. It's because your face is so close to the ground that it looks faster. Elin are visually tiny, and any comparison to their combat behavior fails to take that into account.
Perception and confirmation bias, that's all it is.
OP, just look over the races' inherent skills and decide for yourself which you prefer.
Passives aren't really worth bothering with when choosing a race for you class. Generally speaking, the Elin and Popori races have better reach and more movement than other races for each class.
