How much space in a hard drive this game uses?
I would say its a lot because its a MMO.

Size on Disk: 35.9 GB (38,641,070,080 bytes) For Steam
Size on Disk: 36.0 GB (38,744,064,000 bytes) For Normal Client

My Steam TERA folder is at just under 36GB, but it may require around 50GB when installing, for reasons.

No, Tera will not run well on a crappy laptop. Unless you like 1 fps when you're in a dungeon.

"Crappy laptop" doesn't really say much. If you want a proper answer then you'lll have to post some specifications (graphics card, processor, RAM etc.).
