Tera has more open world.
The devs for Tera actual seem to add stuff to the game, where neverwinter feels they just remove, repacked/reskin it and call it new.
For me the big downside of Tera is endgame, where gear becomes at matter of luck becouse RNG.
Tera:
Pros:
-Hands down best combat in any mmo I have ever played. Far superior to Neverwinter in this regard.
-Looks good. Won't sya the graphics are amazing, but It does look better than Neverwinter.
Cons:
-Questing is lame. Feels much weaker than your average mmo here.
-Grindy. Not sure if they've tweaked the xp gain or not since I last played, but it definetly felt like it took too long to level.
-A 1-2 level lead is overwhelming in PVP. A very small level difference equates to a massive power difference. Kind of a problem considering the way pvp is set up in this game.
Neverwinter:
Pros:
-Neverwinter. A rich lore background upon wich to draw.
-The quest builder thing. Moddable quest give the potential for infinite story. Though balance issues caused this feature to get nerfed quite a bit back when I played.
Cons:
-Bascially almost every other aspect of the game. It wasn't that it was terrible in other areas, it's was simply mediocre. And the story possibilities were not strong enough to carry the game. Swotor has better story.
