Slayer or Warrior
So, i cant decide between Slayer or Warrior, i like the idea of both classes, but i think slayer may be too slow..
i play as a warrior in WoW, and have always loved that kind of playstyle, but neither of them fit it perfectly, so it's hard to decide, help me?

well you see it depends do you want to pvp or pve, in pvp wars work like a rogue class jumping on some ones back keeping them stunned and killing them on the other hand slayers are still a hit hard and fast class but they are based around stuns and kds
sooo really its all about how you want to kill your target do you want to keep them stunned and never let them get a hit on you or do you want to stun your target and kd them
and then kill as fast as you can slayers have a far harder time holding some one still so we have too drop them real fast or they will get away

Slayers start off slow, but a lot of their skills get faster when chained, as well as having possibilities to eliminate cooldowns.

Slayer = Darksouls with combo skills.

Warrior = evasion tank

Neither class relate much to WoW warriors of being damage powerhouses or defensive tank.

May want to look at Berserker if you're wanting something similar to a WW warrior... High damage, high defense, limited mobility. Or a Lancer which is less DPS (until high levels and proper glyphs are unlocked) and more of a defense tank.

In truth from what i have seen Slayer gives up a lot of its speed but replaces that with damage, its all down to how you as the player feel comfortable playing the game. all i can say is if you feel like taking a bit longer to kill things and have dodges and some options to go with it then warrior is good, or if you wanna cut out the middle man and show your enemy just how screwed they are and dish out some more major damage but at an slower rate with an dodge roll and a few stuns you can give the enemy the true meaning of slayer, personally i can't stand to roll around and jump around my enemy so i picked zerk, but at the same time slayer which is and has been called the faster more evasive zerk i think if you don't want the slowed down feel of zerk go for slayer since as stated once is a "paperthin assassin" since it can target people out with speed bursts and kill them, almost key in PvP where you can take down that annoying priest or sorc or even distract that said sorc or priest so your team can focus on more important things, and again the same things can be done and said for the warrior since the warrior can do the same, but by different and maybe harder or easier methods, so i hope this helps you or anyone else coming here looking for some form of answers.

Warrior gets super in-depth and complicated and especially if you try tanking(which isn't 100% plausible till a little later in game). DPS warr isn't too bad really. A lot of speed and combos to remembers. Tank warr is a lot more complicated and it's skill cycles are twice the length of a lancer or zerker tank. I can't speak much for Slayer as I've never mained one/played one past like 20 or so. I have observed quite a few and they seem to offer a fair amount of mobility and plenty of kds and stuns which can be very useful.

Basicly for anyone new to Tera, Warrior takes time and lots of patience to pull off, so if your not the type to wait around then go to another. Warrior by no means is an class to be rushed and must be pulled off when its skills are up and enemies close enough to be pulled into this chain of strikes.

Combative Strike is the vain of a lot of warriors leveling to 20 without a healer. It sacrifces your HP to weaken the enemy. At level 20 you get a glyph to reduce the amount of HP by half. Around level 30 or a little higher you get enough HP for it to be insignificant, but it can be a pain in the arse at early levels for someone not knowing when to dodge/where to dodge and generally how to move and stay alive with the warr. You'll be down to half HP a lot without taking many hits even being decently skilled. I've seen many new warrs die(and I did myself when starting out)just from this skill and not being able to properly maneveur to avoid damage.

started 6 days ago, playing a warrior... i absolutely love it! I'm level 42 now and ive done some tanking with it, its all about maintaining agro while keeping on the move to avoid dmg. unlike any tank ive ever played in my 20 years of mmo's. I've done a lot of dps with him as well... again, you're still on the move a lot always trying to stay behind your target. there's a lot of thought involved, if you want to play a mindless class i can tell you for sure warrior ain't it.
