How do I turn these things off?
Chain Skills. I can't find an option to turn them off.
I tried removing the chains from the skill window, but they are STILL showing... Why?

I would also very much like to get rif of loot info that is blocking up the screen with huge text.
Do people like this?

Some skills automatically chain into others. I don't think there is a way to turn them off.

Press K, then press "chained skills" in the bottom right corner. From there you have to manually remove every ability chain.

Chaining skills is not a bad idea, but here it's dumb as hell.
If the next skill in the chain would appear on the button that you pressed for the first skill, that would be fine, but I don't see the point in having a dedicated key for chains.

Especially not when the game wants me to chain together 2 independant skills that can both be used alone.
I see a point in having a way to exxecute skills that can ONLY be used in a chain.
Because at least that lets me skip placing that chain skill in it's own action slot.

But ugh... I feel like the system is only half there, and half annoying...

As a last-ditch effort, go through the options menu and see if there is any UI or such settings to turn off screen notifications.

Oh, wait, you said you already did that...

Maybe try a .ini approach? If its there, it'll take some googling.

The UI options for this game are surprisingly limited.
UI customization is such a big thing for so many people.
I don't understand why some devs don't focus more on that.

Korean games and UI's are just a nightmare.Tera is no exception. You just kinda learn to live with it or move on. But if you like mmorpgs get used to it, because everything new will becoming from South Korea :D

if you are playing gunner or reaper I have bad news for you: the chain skills are hardcoded and changing chain skills in the menu doesn`t do anything. Some chains on other classes are hardcoded too, but only 2 or 3 for each class.

I know right?
I'm having such a good time here in TERA, it's such a SHAME that the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UI has to be an issue!

If I'm to judge ALL korean MMO's here for a second: why are they all so damned anti-modding?
I just don't understand it. There are many ways to prevent cheating/hacking other than simply going full out NO-NO on offering modding options...

It's the perfect solution to getting as close as possible to "pleasing everyone".
If I don't like something the game itself has to offer me, then I turn to mods!

A friend is forcing me to play a bit of WOW now, and I just gotta say that I find it interesting that blizzard, who are otherwise going to such lenghts to offer plenty of video settings in their games, DOESN'T have a UI configuration like the one in RIFT and SWTOR.
But! They instead created amazing modding tools for the community, and that is awesome!

Gif mods :'c
