FIX: How to fix your Tera (Update: Server now officially closed for maintenance)

Press the Windows key ( Image) + R to open a "Run" window.
Type "cmd" and press Enter to open a console window.

Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter.
Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter.
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
Type "exit" and press Enter to close the console window.
Hit "Play" or "Try" see if it works

RESTART STEAM

If it is still not working DO THE ABOVE STEPS WITH THE LAUNCHER OPEN

Worked for me! (May not work for everyone)

UPDATE :
Tera server is officially down for maintenance, no need to try now.
The annoucement has been made, the server will be down for 4 hours.

Also, OP has made artisian in armor crafting 10 seconds before server went down.
He was planning to make some healing pots and sell them in the broker before he got booted out.

Gotta do it with launcher open, when in doubt run thru cmd

Do this with your launcher activated
Open Tera

If it has a second stop with same problem, run the above without closing launcher

tried.. im now able to log in successfully but.... still got error after clicking on play button

If you run the 3 ipconfig command again at the play button it will work

But server is down now, no need to bother.

Yep server made annoucement on maintenance. I made artisian 20 seconds before server shutdown!

Yeah, it's a server issue at the moment.

The above thing won't help because there Domain is set to Onhold, mostly commonly related to payment failure and so on.
