Steam and Enmasse Launcher just stop, never loads. (SOLVED)
Got the email about migration. All went good.

I played a few days up till yesterday on the Enmasse launcher, no problems.
-----Now launcher won't do anything.------

Installed Tera through Steam, same problem. Hit start and it tries but stops, no errors no warnings, nothing.

I've reinstalled Enmasse Launcher and Steam version of Tera(scrubbed registry and deleted all folders and even changed drives) no change, won't launch. I made no changes in the OS, no updates, no installs. Even the enmasse diagnostic comes back ok. I tried some online suggestions, modem, router, firewall ect. and trying the launcher from the install directory. Nope.

Anyone have an idea that might help?

-------------------------------------------------
(SOLVED) Worked on both of my Steam and Enmasse Launchers.

After trying everything and even submitting a ticket to Support, i ran the MMEdiag one more time and it said my PORTS:Fail. Didn't say that before.....i think.

So i went to a website to check open ports and it showed all the ports i needed 80,443,10001 were Closed. So i opened ports in my router and in my WinDef Firewall but that did'nt fix it.

**I checked my adapter settings, Right Click Start/Network Connections/Change Adapter Options and found the culprit. A vpn i had uninstalled still had the vpn adapter tunnel active. I disabled it and both Steam and Enmasse launcher now work again. What a headache. At least it works. VPNs are popular so maybe this may help some Gameforge players also.

Quickly I created a GameForge account and authenticated the transfer. I then started a separate download of Tera on a different Drive and it was at 23% of 80Gig. Then it just quit the transfer and does not show any hits runs or errors. It simply just quit the game download without explanation or progress meter. I did not hit play I was only wanting to get ahead of the curve and install the game before November 12th. Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Don't waste your time or money. Gameforge already denied me access after I have logged in for and verified my email address and linked it to steam. Shut me down for no reason and said you do NOT have access to this game contact support. I checked all my characters and played for about 1 hour and next tried to login today and got the message contact support.

Sorry to hear about that KQ7!

But i have had no problem with the migration and i just DL'd the GameForge client and then Tera and launched it and it ran perfectly. The splash screen is a little different and a few other small changes that i noticed. It even kept my old settings. I haven't tried through Steam though.

I also had items i forgot about for sale and they were there just as they were on the original Tera, same with all my unclaimed boxes and special items, all good, no problems.

All of my characters loaded into the game also and none of them were missing items or gold.

The VPN adapter was the root of all my problems.

I found the problem. Apparently GameForge did not change the Unavailable Game message. It wasn't that I was not allowed to play. At the time I was trying to login The NA servers were all down. Instead of the message saying Servers are offline "please try again later, it said This game is NOT available to you Contact support. Literally instead of a message that said servers are offline currently it said "Contact Support" I guess they have some cleaning up to do.

Thanks for your comment and help. I should be more patient and just relax instead of Re-acting in a Tin Foil Hat conspiracy theory.

Peace out.
