What a horrible experience coming back

Haven't played in 1-2 years, came back and immediately started doing the Velika Banquet quest line thinking that's what I had to start to level up from 65 (later learned it was for the armor set and that the best way to level up to 70 was to farm the same old dungeon MC over and over again, cool, fun!) Too bad the quest glitched out when I opened the lucky box and no coin popped out or appeared in my inventory. . trying to get help from world chat was like pulling teeth (thanks to the two people who were cool) but the rest were elitist and toxic, this game has always had a bad rep for having a toxic community but that sure proved it in the first 10 minutes of being back.

Alas I guess I won't be showing my blue halo off to anyone because I just immediately uninstalled after that.

Do what WoW did and give us a vanilla Tera that had some actual weight and meaning to the world.

So you uninstalled because of a glitch that you eventually got help from? You depend on world chat to get help (very archaic) instead of just joining the discord? You were never gonna make it son.

So you basically uninstalled bc tera is like every online game on the planet? It has toxic people? I don't really get It. If you're going to play a game online you have to be less sensitive. Especially If you're going to ask for help, there are toxic people anywhere you go. Also why are you name calling him lol? He just asked a question, you seem no better than those "toxic" people you mentioned on tera. You can have a discussion with another human being without the insults.

Anyway your problem was fixed and you got your help so shouldn't you just be happy? If you don't wanna play the game and uninstall that's completely fine..but why make a discussion about it If you're just gonna insult us when we comment? You coulda just did what 99% of other ppl do when they uninstall the game...just do It. No need to tell us your life story about It, unless you actually wanna discuss something about It.

From reading your post though I don't think you wanna discuss anything, you just went here to rant and ♥♥♥♥ talk the community. Like im actually curious, what kind of responses did you expect when you make a discussion like this?

I just came back to the game after stop playing since 2016, and Im having a blast right now, make a new character, a brawler and going through the content seeing how much stuff has changed was a nice change of pace,quitting the game just for a bug, that lets be real what game dont have now days, it's just childish, if that was the attitude you were planning to coming back, you where lost from the start.

wow well i think that is just as toxic as the people that didn't help. Really if you wanted show that this community is toxic you did it well, now how can you say the same information begin no toxic .. well i will try.
Yea like all games some people is very toxic so people tend to not use much chat, but now discord is being more used for community and there are no toxics cause moderators are very active, you can always come back to tera again using discord and give a second chance of a great game.

MMOs are grindy. It isn't just TERA. You are going to be grinding the same thing for a long time in any MMORPG lol.
Any online community is going to have toxic people, but it seems like your attitude is probably the reason you run into them so frequently.

But, nobody is forcing you to repeat the Macellarius Catacombs. Completing the Apex quests should bring you up to level 69. If you also complete some of the Vanguard requests, that should bring you up to level 70. That is what I did when I returned to Tera. The quests are there for a reason, after all. Tera has always been a buggy game, even five years ago. Most MMO games are like that anyway, especially if they are big.
