Levelling Cooking

Just popped back into Tera after an absence and like the fishing and crafting changes generally. It seems I need to level cooking though up to level 500 in order to complete most of the cooking storyy line quests. WHat methods have people been using to level cooking as I really dont seem to have many recipies I can work with. Do i just need to make 600 Fish Fry''s?
