i really like Tera but i still hate the fact that the developers hate male classes i get that sex sells but still it sucks... all the cool classes are locked behind gender exclusive like ninja and brawler, HOW THE HELL IS BRAWLER A FEMALE! that makes 0 sense lol

P.S - I am not sexist or anything i personally just play MMO's and i grow attach to my character its a character i have to spend tons of time on to improve and do stuff, so u know it be weird to play as a little girl

i see thank you, i saw the new class Lunar Dancer, another gender locked fantastic! i was really wanting to play this game again but this is just ridiculous now, thank you guys appreciate it!

Yeah, the new class is looking pretty cool. Looking forward to it.

Also, Brawler is great fun, you should give it a whirl. Punch to live, live to punch. Personally I think Gunner gets kinda dull after awhile, and I find Sorcerer to be more entertaining for a ranged DPS. Personal taste though.

Reaper is...interesting. In some ways kind of reminds me of WoW's Death Knights. Though not as tanky.

Its more a matter of prefrence really, me personally i dont mind playing female characters in short games like League or Warframe or OVerwatch, However an MMO is a game where i want to strongly invest my self in both the game and the lore, i want to be in the game and put so much effort into making my guy powerful, I can't do that with a female gender locked class its just to weird to play as not my gender in a game i have to invest so much time in, its not about swinging in any way whether straight or gay, its about being able to put myself in my characters shoes and immerse myself in the world, Can't do that with a female character that would be super gay me acting as a girl

yea i am gonna pass up on this game again until a new class comes out that isn't gender locked, i think the game is great the combat is amazing BUT i can't immerse myself in the world acting like a girl so gonna pass again i wanted to be Ninja but i am not big on being a little girl i prefer not to be a pedophile

This part and the one with the similer topic is possibly the weakest agument I see all the time. if you are joking, okay that's fine. If you are being real, then keep in mind that there are all kind of female characters around so why would it matter if someone wants to play a male, when they could look at someone one elses female character. On top of that if all you can focuse on is the butt then why not just take a screen shot or make a gif of the walking/running animation, cause if all your doing is looking at your character's back side then your playing it wrong.

Eventually there will be male Brawlers. It'll most likely not be able to gender change from an existing one, because of korean programming and $.

I get why Valkyrie is gender lock Valkyrie are females I do not get why brawler thats a normal male class is female only I also do not get why reaper is elin only and lock behind a lvl 40cap considering the Castanic are the gloomy reaper type

It's simple, they go for the most popular choice to save on production cost/effort. I'm guessing from what i saw, the 2 most popular are female elin(appeal to lolicons guys and female gamers who like cute stuff) and female castanics(slutty, appeal to male gamers) 'Let's release a new class to keep players interested but we don't want to work too hard, let's see, majority of our paying customers play elin exclusively, let's make a new class for those."

It's just laziness and cost/time efficiency on their part, they could easily make the new classes available for all races and gender, but that would require making new animations and gear models for all combinations of gender/race only to please a minority of players. Although i'm sure if they released a male popori only class, even if it was OP, only a small minority of players would play it. They know it, so they produce what the majority of their customers want.
