Pretty sure I'm stuck....

I connected branches to the 4 green islands and the main plant branch grew upwards into the mushroom island with the 4th teleporter. Now I can't get any higher.

I can find bulbs to grow new branches, but only up to a certain height. I can't grow any farther than the island itself. I've been trying for literally hours, the bulbs don't show up at a specific height.

Do I have to do something first? Did I miss something important?

I don't want to start all the way over, because I already have 43% of the crystals and I spent a lot of time already.

You have to make the plant grow more with other green islands.

There should be a green island that you can reach from where you are.
From the central plant, look at the tall, slim brown mushrooms on the opposite side of the island; to their right there should be an island close enough for you to reach with one, at most 2 bulbs.

I see one semi-close, but none of my branches can reach it. I'll look around some more though.

The main plant didn't break through the island yet, is there something I need to do for that first? Because otherwise everything seems just out of reach

Never mind, the main plant just suddenly appeared through the island. It must have been glitched because it literally wasn't there before
