Hi. I had this game ages ago but just got around to giving it a proper try and am loving it but something puzzles me. There are some things that you can't possibly get to a teleporter and some things you can't even uproot. How do you get these things into your data base.

To unroot plants, you don't have to grab it and pull. You just have to run into it.
For the stuff you can't manage to lift up to the teleporter, you should collect crystals, as they'll allow you to get a jetpack and upgrades to it. With the final upgrade, nothing should be a problem.

Theres also the option of skydiving down to the last teleporter you triggered if you cant make it up to the next one.

When you get 100% with crystals found you get infinite jet pack. I got all things scanned in a relatively short time after finding all the crystals.

I'm finding that some things don't actually scan for me when I put them in the teleporter.

Is there a limit to how many things a teleporter can scan?
i.e. do I need to take them to a different teleporter instead of using the same one all the time?

I don't think so. Are you sure that the thing you want to scan isn't already scanned (but with a slight difference of color or something) and is scanable ?

an example is the cave carrot.

Well, no idea. I remember some stuff was hard to pull to the teleporter due to their size or weight, but I didn't encounter much problem.

Turns out I had already scanned the cave carrot (the image looked greyed out and un-scanned), and the other items were the my fault also.
