Report a translation problem
Try starting the game from the 'exe' file as Administrator and maybe try a compatability mode or the Win10 troubleshooter from that file, that has solved my other game start-up problems.

I am sad to read that you could not get it working on Win10.
I don't know what steps you have tried, but have you tried deleting all the files in
C:\Users\<username>AppData\Local\LucasArts\LEGOIndianaJones
?
The only PC I have played LEGO Indy on is a Win10 PC. I was stuffing around with settings once and caused the game to stop starting up. Deleting the above mentioned files including my saved games fixed it for me.
