How do I do local multiplayer on the same computer?

How can I connect two keyboards into my computer and get local multiplayer working? I've tried already however, they both controlled the same character. I went through the controls but pressing num enter doesn't work. What should I try

Do you have a Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller? I recommend using controllers to play the game. Try pressing Start on the second controller for a second player. I'm not sure if multiple keyboards work.

I've gotten it to work and yes it does work with two keyboards.
