Oranges/reds showing up as blue

Weird problem I am having with this game and other Steam games. Certain colors are inverted. Reds/oranges show up as blues in the game and blues show up as orange/red. Oddly enough when I take a screen cap of the game to show this issue and paste it into paint, the colors are correct. This only happens with Steam games. I am running Windows 10. Any help with this matter would be awesome.

as best as i can tell it is windows 10 at fault, since it started instantely after one of their bigger updates and it is effecting all my steam games in the same manner. disabling fullscreen optimization under compatablity has help with some games but not all. thanks again Windows for adding crap no one needed, wanted, or runs correctly.

This is almost certainly not a problem with the game, but rather with your graphics card. Modern graphics card allow adjusting colors in their control panels. Make sure your graphics card is properly installed and that you don't have any technical issues (failing hardware - I once had a graphics card that was dying and was doing all kinds of weird stuff) or advanced settings either for all games or for several specific games.

any update on this one please I have am AMD radeon RX vega 10 and have the same issue... what do I need to change please

1. Verify game cache files.
2. Update your graphics drivers.
3. Disable all "optional" stuff like video capture, extra overlays etc.
4. Reduce graphics settings and see if it works fine with them.

You need to meet the devs halfway - do some analysis yourself.

You have an integrated graphics card (RX Vega 10). Most modern games require a dedicated card. Your laptop doesn't meet the minimum requirements of Frostpunk.

thanks you for your support with this issue. I have just reviewed my settings on the amd dashboard and changed the virtual super resolution settings and it is now back to normal
