I know both paths can go down the authoritarian route. How does one avoid it?
Some laws like working children should be of limit too.
That could change the text you get at the end of the scenario.
That will make things harder but you can't have it all, that's what great with the game.
So are there roughly five endings? Two for each path and their ending for never going down either path?
Faith Side:
-House of Prayer, Evening Prayers, Temple, Shrines, House of Healing, and Field Kitchen are all 100% safe.
-Faith Keepers will disqualify you from the golden path achievement, but on their own cause no moral issues and you will still get the good ending.
-Public Penance is morally questionable, and will provoke certain moral choice events; you must take the good choice in order to get the good ending.
-Everything else crosses the line.
Order Side:
-Watch Posts, Guard Posts, Morning Gatherings, Patrol, and Foreman are all 100% safe.
-Prison and Propaganda Center are morally dubious, and will provoke certain moral choice events; you must take the good choice in order to get the good ending. Note that the propaganda center disqualifies you from the golden path achievement, but the prison does not.
-Agitator is perfectly fine, but it takes propaganda center as a prerequisite so you can't get it without disqualifying yourself from the achievement.
Everything else will cross the line.
Golden path is the goodest of good endings and one of those achievements you get for doing everything perfectly, which includes having no deaths.
Including looses there's easily more than five endings, including the one where all the adults die and the kids kick you out of the city.
