I checked out Pale Beyond and don't like the art style but it does look like Frostpunk players would see similarities there.
Try Against the Storm, it's excellent...not exactly a "Frostpunk" game but it is a city builder where you have to obtain objectives while trying to appease a powerful Queen who doesn't sit well patiently nor puts up with incompetence.

Thanks for the reco, i will check it out.
I am more a fan of frozen environment game with strong scenario rather than city builder, but why not try it
Thanks for the reco.
Actually i wasn't looking for an easier game because i succeed well in frost punk as i am a perfectionnist, I was more like stating The Pale Beyond is an easier Frospunk like game for people who consider frostpunk very hard, and that I enjoyed very much playing The Pale Beyond.
cheers
For survival games, i enjoyed Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadville
Help Will Come Tomorrow
This War of Mine
Space Haven
It's easier than Frostpunk but still challenging, the game throws a lot at you as well, and there are several difficulty levels to replay the missions.
After experiencing the unrelenting nightmares over there, Forstpunk will feel like Farmville.
