On the Edge is nice, a bit similar to other main scenarios with the addition of ally settlements you can trade with. The main issue is that you start with laws blocked (you have to ask a city for help to unlock laws) and you are limited in wood and food which means you have less ressource building and have to ask allies for these.
The Rifts is a map for endless mode where you have to build bridge (and spend ressources doing so) to access more ressources. It's the most interesting map for endless mode I think, but you have to like that mode.
In the end, it's worth buying the whole season pass if you like the main game.
Note that none of the DLC add anything to the main 4 scenarios so you can buy the season pass or DLC later. They do add to endless mode.
On the Edge is definitely the weakest scenario, and the fact that it came out last probably soured some people's opinions toward this game, unfortunately. It was OK, but I don't think I'd play through it more than once.
The Rifts is cool, but only if you play a lot of endless mode.
Last Autumn is the most worthwhile if you only want the one DLC
I cant remember how to unblock the letters ; D.L.C. I just wanted to block DLC's from showing in the game store and it never worked.
now all it does is censor whoever says DLC.....
This is how your title looks to me :: which ♥♥♥ should i buy?............
Kinda related to your question; but not really:: this game was on sale a few weeks ago. And I was able to get all the DLC's. i think the games good enough to get them all whenever you can.
might want to save up for a PC upgrade if you have failing hardware or it wont keep up with other games.
