Sawmill not collecting wood bug?

Hi all.

I have played a lot in the past and sort of skipped the game a bit.

Today I thought I would give it another go on extreme endurance. No Hazards or Settlements.

For some reason after the 3rd or 4th storm, my Sawmills stopped producing wood. Wood storage was close to empty and the Sawmill was still in range with trees. The one had like 400 wood available and the other 300.

Before someone asks. LOL

Yes, I do have free storage. Yes, the roads are connected to the saw mill and generator. And yes, the people were working in them with no-one sick.

I tried moving the sawmills by rebuilding them, but they still did not collect wood.

I then decided to move them a lot deeper into the trees and they worked for a few days and then again came to a stop. People working, no icon on top of the buildings showing any issue, but no wood coming in and the buildings wood available count do not go down.

I can also confirm that I could see the workers going into the Saw mill each morning and leaving each evening.

Very strange. Is this a bug and is there someway to fix this?

Playing endless on the arks map by any chance?
If so, then that's your problem, sawmills on that endless map are bugged for some reason. Best, and only, option is to get wall drills up and running ASAP.

Spot on. It is the Arks map. I started the wall drills and will use it. Not that I need that much wood anymore though.

My OCD on the other hand cannot waste the trees. Oh well.

Then don't waste the trees, build a bunch of town squares and/or parks within it connected by a minimum of roads with some lamps and turn the whole thing into a sort of winter park area.

I kinda wish I had a better picture of this in action, but riiigghhhttt up the top of this image you can sort of half see a time I also did this.

Just encountered this on a different map. Playing endless builders. It such a weird thing to occur I wonder what causes the bug.

I've only noticed it on the Arks map in Endless. Really annoying, IIRC you can't even build over the trees to get rid of them.
