Do Faith Keepers “cross the line”?
Title. I’ve heard conflicting information from people about whether or not signing faith keepers counts as crossing the line for the Golden Path achievement. In real life obviously a religious police force is pretty dystopic but mechanically is this considered an “evil” law?

You can sign them.

Stop at temple, don't sign faith keeper to not cross the line. Every law in the adaption tree is also fine for golden path other than canabilsm/dueling law, (child labor some people claim they got with it others say otherwise I would just not sign it as not needed anyways). So long as you do not allow a death from signing it. Eg 24 hour shifts can be used but if you mis use it and cause a death from overwork that will fail golden path. Thou if you want to play it safe its quite easy to do on easy without ever signing any law at all which is what many people have done.

The death of the old man as a story based event dose not count for golden path. Golden path only counts the deaths that would fail iron savoir.

IF you want a step by step guide to every event that dose work you can follow this:

Thats an order path thou. You don't have to use the exact laws he did others ones like snowpit are fine but if playing easy it doesn't really matter what you pick so knowing the event order that works can be nice. EG he din't take extended shift that you can take if you want. Know your allowed to take 24/extended but using them is another factor. As getting a need event from them can fail so I don't find it worth the risk as not needed.

Don't use coal mines just use thumpers of the start or swap to them mid way as you wont want mines up at all when the storm starts.

As far as I understand, anything that goes beyond the second tier of purpose tree is considered crossing the line. So, Righteous denounciation and Faith keepers for faith, and Prison and Propaganda Center for order

Faith Keepers do not cross the line, but it will not count towards Golden Path.
