Finished the game. Is the DLC bundle worth it as a package?
Finished the game. Is the DLC bundle worth it as a package? Some positive. Some mixed. What do you think (without spoilers)?

Without the additional scenarios; the Rifts, on the Edge and the Last autumn, the base game is well simply put, short on content. Each scenario offers different challenges and broadens your perspective into the lore. Which is well worth it, in my opinion.

That doesn't make sense. It's short on content but is worth it due to new perspectives on the lore? I guess you mean game content of playing the game vs the new piece of lore imbued in each scenario?

Last Autumn = 1 completely different scenario + builders mode in endless
On the Edge = rather classic scenario + possibility to activate ally settlements in endless mode
The Rifts = new endless mode with bridges to access different areas with ressources.

Short / long depends on your view of the game, if you plan to play the scnearios once and then never again, it can be short, if you plan to play in different ways, different difficulties, hunt for achievement, it's longer.

The bundle is quite cheap at the moment, totally worth it in my opinion.

sigh The base game only comes with four scenarios. Four! [A new home, the Arks, the Refugees and the Fall of Winterhome]. So without the additional content [the Rifts, on the Edge and the Last autumn] the base game is short on content. Even buying just one more scenario makes a huge difference content-vise. Without them, the "set" is incomplete, the story is incomplete. So yes, buying those extra scenarios, is well worth it, since they also add content to the endless mode.

Again, each new scenario offers new challenges and new perspectives, if you're curious to know how other cities are doing, if they communicate with others and how it all began. Do you seriously want me to further explain? Doing so without spoilers is practically impossible.

"Content" is vague. I didn't know if you were referencing game play or lore (like the others). No. It's fine. I don't want you to get more irritated than you already are.

For the DLC, The Last Autumn is a pretty different experience from the normal scenarios and is pretty good in terms of both gameplay and lore. Definitely worth getting (also adds a new mode to endless). It is probably my favorite scenario either tied with or a bit ahead of A New Home.

On the Edge can also be an interesting scenario that is pretty different, but people are more mixed on their opinions of it to my knowledge and it may not be as replayable. It also adds a fair bit of content to endless mode though if you like that.

Rifts is a bit of a weird one, all it adds is a single map to endless mode. This map can be an interesting one to do and is probably the most difficult endless mode map, but it is still one map, and adds nothing in terms of lore.

I would say The Last Autumn you should definitely get, On the Edge I feel is pretty worthwhile but it is more limited (still really enjoyed it and it adds a lot to endless though), and Rifts is more if you want a difficult endless mode map.

As a package, right now The Last Autumn and On the Edge are $10.48 USD put together. Generally when the steam store page offers a package like this one does there is an extra discount applied compared to buying them individually, so if it would be $10.48 or less for you, probably worth it as a package, both of those are worth getting imo. If it is more than that, guess it depends on whether you are interested in Rifts.
