The arks scenario: success only if we help the other city?
This scenario states from the beginning that our mission is to make sure we keep all the stored seeds intact but if we cannot help the other city (twice), then its considered failed?

I disagree.

I helped the other city once with 600 wood + 600 steel + automate but because I couldn't supply them with food in less then 20 hours I failed my mission???

The only way you fail the scenario is if you don't have enough resources saved up for your own colony by the deadline or lose all the Arks. New Manchester is a stretch goal and gives the best ending if you save it as well, but it's not necessary to save it to win the scenario. Actually if you save New Manchester but fail to meet your own goals for your colony by the deadline, you lose the scenario.

This.
You must be sure to have enoughcfor you before helping new manchester.
You can choose not to help them at all anfd still succeed the scenario.

Trying to save New Manchester is more of a moral choice and if you decide to help them, whether you succeed or not doesn't become your primary objective. Saving the arks is always your primary goal. It's possible to succeed with both, fail either one or fail both.

I just did that. Only had like 6000 coal in the end but "won" anyway because I saved New Manchester. Funny thing is that i got the achivements for saving the arks even though i only had the 6000 coal an the end?

what was already written: Either save new manchester OR save the arks.. both leads already to a win ! you don´t have to do both of them ! (of course at least 1 ark should survive at the end!)
