make sure it's in borderless windowed, not fullscreen.

literally cant change the settings since it constantly keeps minimizing. already tried changing the settings in the gfxconfig in the games folder and that didnt work either.

When this has happened with other games it has been down to external factors.

Firstly do a complete strip out of your gpu drivers (a program like DDU can do it) Do not just rely on windows uninstall as it can leave files. Also do not just assume as you updated your drivers it worked (sometimes old files can be write protected etc, so the driver program may think its updated properly, but may not have)

Then do a full re-install of the latest ones.

----
The next step is 3rd party apps. Background applications and processes are known instigators of performance drops in PC gaming.
So you need to disable or shutdown nonvital programs and services.

Right-click on Taskbar and open Task Manager.
Open the Startup tab.
Right-click and Disable all redundant applications.
restart your computer. (not just a shutdown, believe it or not since 10, shutdown does not fully restart as it leaves things in hibernation).

Typical programs to look for are
VoIP programs like Skype.
Cloud programs like OneDrive.
Torrents and downloaders.
Third-party antivirus solutions.
Remote-access programs like TeamViewer.
Updaters like Java or Adobe.

----

While a long shot try disabling game mode.
Press Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
Choose Gaming.
Open Game Mode from the left pane.
Toggle ‘Use Game Mode‘ off.

------
Try running as admin

Navigate to game’s installation folder (by default it’s in C: Program Files) and locate the main EXE file.
Right-click on it and choose Properties.
Open the Compatibility tab.
Now, check the box next to Run this program as an administrator.
click apply then okay.

Wiping drivers and reinstalling takes like 10 minutes tops. Its hardly a big deal really, if it fixes your issue then why not? (also it could be the issue is affecting other games, just maybe not the ones you currently play).

Regardless sorry you not able to play it.

its a big deal due to how the programs i need react to that sort of thing. if i reinstall graphics drivers at least half of my programs go to ♥♥♥♥ and also the settings ive set for nvidia are all gone, which take far too long to re setup and half the time they refuse to change to the correct ones.ill reinstall the game and see if that helps but i think its just an issue of having multiple monitors/the game just schizoing out iwth its code, as i really dont get this with ANY other game.

Each to their own. I have 2 monitors, works okay. Though I know there have been games, which have issues with 3 or more monitors. So maybe the same thing.

All you have to do is just wait, after couple secs it will be back to fullscreen
