Frostpunk
The problem with RAM
My computer has 8 gigabytes of RAM and the game somehow manages to use them completely, and it closes because of a lack of memory. The minimum requirements indicate that 4 gigabytes of memory is enough. Does anyone have such a problem? In other games, there is no such problem.

P.S. There are no other problems, the game runs at 60 fps, with no errors and freeze, but eventually closed due to lack of memory.

Sounds like what is called a memory leak. Let's hope the devs fix it soon then.

Do you have the same problem? Among the many problems that people write about here, I have not seen other reports about this problem.
yeah eating my 8 gb ram and 6 gb virtual memory lol
but no "crash" so far
Ark survival evolved had a memory leak way back when...2016/2017 :P It does happen. It will get fixed at some point so report it as a bug?

I have no such issues on my system with 16GB Ram ran it for like 3 hours straight.

I have 8 GB RAM as well
It loads up to 98% as soon as I start new game
Do yuou have your "Virtual Memory" settings in Windows set to something arbitrarily low? It should be set to "auto" otherwise you will run into performance issues in general with the OS constnatly trying to swap out and kill memory that it can't find
I normally run with no VM with a 12 gig system, but Frosty ate my ram pretty quick so VM enabled now.
I experience what you describe. After day 30 or so I have had virtual memory climb to 20GB with 8GB of RAM almost all full.
same problem gtx1060 6GB 100% usage 17 FPS
8g RAM, but having issues with the game crashing.
Sucks, cuz I'm enjoying this game.
Hey guys,

Please go to the support guide (https://steamcommunity.com/app/323190/discussions/1/3211505894147947799/), get the game to generate the ConsoleOutput file, play it for a while until the problem occurs, quit the game (or wait for it to crash), grab the CO file, generate DxDiag and send them our (techsupport@11bitstudios.com) way for the investigation. More data will surely be helpful to us. :)

Cheers!

PS. Please make sure that you have virtual memory enabled and that you gave it some room to breathe.
