thats because its probably not the right one, i found the problem in the first place withina few hours fromlaunch on windows 10 and its been copied. it was the 2013 redistrobutable that was causing the problem not 2017. ifyou have 64bit u need both x86 and x64 aswell.

Most APPCRASH errors are due to outdated video drivers

Ensure you hvae download the absolute latest drivers from Nvidia or AMD directly.

managed it to work finally. Tried to fix it and messed my system up. I restored windows (10) and re-installed the steam, all windows updates only installed 64bit version of c++ things both 2013 and 2017. Run it as administrator and it worked like a charm. played for an hour. No fps issues so far with 860m.
