Thanks but that didn't answered my questions - does it expire at some date, as term "season pass" suggests (at least to me)?

Season pass is a pack of several DLC, few of them will be available after purchase (The Rifts, Artbook and Sountrack), 2 others will be released in upcoming months. It will not expire.

It answered the "what does it give" question. It's basically a pre-order discount for the DLCs.

I'm probably one of many that opted into the game back in early access long before there was ever a DLC/Season pass even hinted...I kinda wish that it was coded into our games that we had the DLC verses those who bought it after it came out of early access...oh well my boohoo done lol...Has there been word of any possible upcoming discounts or sales?

Why should you get content beyond the org planned content of the game just since you where there in EA. You already got your bonus for being there in EA by getting to play before others. There is zero reason what so ever they should give up profit to further cater to early access players. They where quite accurate in there advertisements giving one year of content listed on a roadmap without removing stuff later to us. That was there full release. There is no reason for a expansion to the game to be granted to those that have only bought the org. Company's are there to make money not to give everything for free. That being said I have seen games give rewards to those that have been active on the forums and helping with feedback since early access as a thank you but not just for buying it in early access. They are billions for example gave me and a few other active forum members there collectors editions when the game was fully released as well as a new TAB key to give away as thanks for feedback over the EA process.

As for discounts and sales on the pass haven't seen any listed yet. I don't think there will be any till around xmas where we might see one for the pass as likely two parts of it will be out by than and a good xmas "gift". Or at least a discount on the already released two we might see.
