Survivor mode with no deaths - Even possible?

I've seen video's of people pulling off survivor mode, but that was only in the early release. The mechanics have since changed and I see NOTHING from anyone about achieving survivor mode using a modern version of this game. I've been at this for some time myself and just can't find the right combo. I see video's of Extreme being pulled off, but that's not the same challenge. No deaths, can it even be done now? I get VERY close to getting my town up and running before that death bell eventually rings, just can't seem to pull it off.

Extreme and Survivor are the same difficulty with the difference that Survivor you cannot pause the game.

It is very dooable on all scenarios to pull it off. The hardest to do is Winterhome and also the most annoying in Survivor as you can tumble down after the cleanup and you can't at least have a save state after you cleaned the city up to start from there.

And yes deathless Survivor/Extreme runs are possible on all scenarios par Winterhome.

You seem to be overlooking that Overdrive isn't available early on in survival mode, they are not the same game play. I've seen your video on extreme mode, but I'll agree with you after you post a video actually pulling it off.

What are you talking about Overdrive is always available from day 1 on any mode.

Extremely old run I wasn't planning to do survivor so was a bit off while playing it but you can see again deathless. Only issue in this run I didn't scout all the areas during the Stereoscopic beacon.

I was ready to call BS on that. When I hover over the overdrive button, it says I haven't unlocked the conditions yet. When I click to activate it, it won't turn on... UNTIL it gets up to full temperature. Apparently I gave up trying to use it too quickly... Thanks for filling in that piece of the puzzle. But hey, if you're looking for the next challenge... survival mode without the overdrive!

Dude.. I did survival with just tents.. LOL. You need the overdrive the last 2 days of the New Home scenario otherwise you will end up with a lot of dead people.

Eww, death found at 1:06 in your vid. I don't think I was very clear on my subject, I meant to say looking for the survival mode AND no deaths for the achievement. Still, the tips are helpful, gives me something new to try.

I don't understand why you are nitpicking while you don't even understand the mechanics of the game. That death is a scripted 50/50 death from radical treatment law. A person undergoing radical treatment will either thank you or commit suicide is not something you can control. Sure I could have passed Sustain Life to avoid it but it is dooable I didn't even remember there was a death there.

That is because it is actually not a death on that Event -> it doesnt matter. It doesnt even put a Corpse in your City if you get that Event.
