Londoners left even though I chose the high hope option
So i had the options for making them stay with my guards or asking them to stay since my city had high hope. I chose that option but they show the animation with them leaving my city.

Bug or?

High hope option means you THINK most will stay based on your current hope, so your doing nothing. But unless its 100% hope....Some will leave if the current count of Londoners is not really low.

I had 95% hope and only 6 Londoners through the Order path. Only ONE person left. What the ♥♥♥♥ do they think they'll do by themselves? They sure as ♥♥♥♥ won't get far. But I missed the achievement because of that one moron.

I had 100% hope AND 0% discontent (got the achievement), and clicking on the Hope option still triggered them leaving... all 5 of them. Bug or still supposed to be a % chance?

I think to be sure, you have to convert them all before the last day. I didn't have 100% hope and they all stayed. I did start serving real meals instead of soup. I stopped all overtime shifts and I spammed alot of sermons. Plus I built the Temple.

It's this. They have to all convert ahead of time so nobody tries to leave.

I went Order originally and "made" everyone stay, and it didn't count either. I finally got it when I convinced everyone before they tried to go.

Did your workforce drop by 5 or just the cutscene show 5 guys?

I had 9 londoners left and high hope, chose the 'most will stay' option, and the cutscene showed 9 people leaving. Burt when I checked my workforce levels only 3 had actually gone. So in my case at least the cutscene was bugged but not the actual game effect.

This Londoners thing really upset me to no end... I admit my hope wasn't all that high, but there was no discontent, and when all said and done. They had 97!!! that wanted to leave, it ended in a blood bath of 10 dead and 30 injured... (order path). In hind sight this was my first game/play through, and my city was the poster boy of unorganzied mess....
