Trick to street placement?
Is there are trick to being sure streets are connected to buildings? I have a few hours in this game, and I still find myself drawing streets wildly everywhere hoping to connect somehow? I don't squeeze buildings--just place. Advice?

Also, I have a second question...What's the best way to turn on multiple heaters at once? I think when the generator turns off, they all go off by default..not sure. I find myself diddling with heaters a lot. Not sure why.

Thanks in advance.

Put the heat over lay on (click the big round button at the top that shows the temp.) and you can see the heaters easier that way to turn them on and off.

Make a road around the generator in a circle and then each circle out one house thick. Draw one road out connecting the circles of roads.

What exactly is your problem? In any scenatio except last one, you just draw a street 'into` a building, this will ensure they are connected. The thing i do - draw complete circles as needed and just connect them to generator - basically what Tin Can said, except i leave space of 2 houses between them at first to conserve wood and build time.

There is none, so just don`t run out of coal.
In case you do, it is easier to pause and turn temperature overlay on, to look for needed adjustments. You can switch heaters from there.
Also don`t forget it is a good idea to have 4 similar workplaces (or more) near each other, so you can put a steam hub there instead of heaters.

these were good tips and the video is probably the gold standard in answering this question.
