Achievement guide?
Anyone know where I can find an achievement guide for the last autumn, haven't see anything on the forums yet and I'm struggling with a few :(
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

There are some advices scattered between posts.
Which achievement are you struggling with ?

Emissions Reduction

All Along the Watchtower

Arise Ye Workers

Ducks in a Row

These ones are my main struggle, there are others but I'm aiming for these 4 at the moment.

1. Emission reduction. Finish last autumn without vent or bath house. Take engineer side to gain some free safety level and use short shifts / -25% almost all the time, build the protective measure when asked and that's it. Also never gather coal not to be tempted to use it.
Finish the generator before d37 and you wont need braziers. Worst case scenario: get infirmaries with good insulation and save just enough people waiting for the icebreaker.

2. All along the watchtower.
Side with the engineer and go all yhe way up the law tree to make prisoners out of workers (dont forget scouts) and engineers out of workers as well.

3. Arise ye workers.
Side with workers. Use the equality law to able engineers to work anywhere and when you dont need them anymore.... make them work on deadly places and dont heal them.
If they get cruples sendbthem back with the appropriate carehouse law.

4. Ducks in a row, always prepare the parts for the next step while building the generator and when a step is done and start another right away.

1,2,4 can be done together or 3 and 4

Thank you very much for your help, i'll give them a go and hopefully knock them off, by the time they are done maybe their will be an achievement guide up somewhere for the rest lol.
Thank you again.

- All Along The Watchtower: As you turn your workers into convicts don't forget to keep up with building Overseer towers stuffed with engineers. If you neglect that you'll have your convicts riot and massacre people.

- Arise Ye Workers - the most reliable solution is to stick your engineers into the ship wreck when the temperature falls to freezing and disable your hospitals. They'll die off in a few days.

Also heads up, there are two achievements that are bugged at the moment. The "Not great, not terrible" requires you to avoid working Deadly or Safe workplaces but in fact you must avoid Dangerous as well. And the "A for Effort" is straight up borked, can't be done until a fix.

How hard is to get No Crunch (Build the generator in The Last Autumn scenario using neither Two Shifts nor Extended Shifts) achievement? Do you have any tips?

Quite easy actually, I got no crunch, no coal use and king fish in one run, finishing before day 32.
Just never unlock overtime/2 shifts and play as usual. You may need more gathering posts on the docks piles and 2 upgraded fisheries or 1 + foragers.

Just try it and ask if you have trouble with something specific.

Ducks in a row: Just don't finish anything until you're ready to start the next. As long as there is always part of the generator build site going, you're fine. You can also just skip the first deadline with absolutely no problems. This will allow you to focus on building researching your economy.

I was able to get ducks in a row done, now i'm trying Emissions Reduction and Along the Watchtower together, someone said you can do them together so i'm giving it a go.
After that i'll aim for Arise Ye workers & The last autumn survivor (obviously seperate games lol)

Then i only have the last two hard ones, first i will try to do Not great not terrible, i got a feeling thats gonna take awhile, then the last one, A for effort, which is unachieveble at the moment?
Almost there thankfully!!!

Emissions Reduction:
- You CAN take bath law, build bath and dismantle it (but don't turn it on)
- You CAN (and, obviously, should) build steel plates using coal at Foundry
- You CAN'T use any other coal buildings
- Engineers could make your safety management easier but this is not critical since you can mitigate danger by many other means
- Difficulty level affects base safety level of generator construction site (min -3 on easy, -4 on hard)

Along the Watchtower:
You'll have to roundup a lot which greatly rises discontent and become less efficient if you have little workers left (if you have 15 workers it will not make them all convicts). Also, you need more engineers to watch the convicts, also keep in mind that you can't promote last 4 workers to engineers - you'll need exactly 5. In this case roundups is the only thing. This is (game)time consuming, so plan ahead.

Not great not terrible:
I've read somewhere on reddit that it's bugged in that way it either counts for Dangerous too (not only Deadly) or there's gap on start/end of workday when ventilation plants turn on/off or Engineers Inspectorate comes in/out - that gap which make safety level jump to either boundaries bail this achievements.
So, I didn't get it yet, but as I see it - don't go engineers, put ventilation on 24h and check each day at 07:01 (when gas change apply) what safety level it is.

Not sure about any gap but I think you fail the achievement even if you shortly flip from Harmful to Dangerous and back. So if there's a gap it's not the culprit. Just to be safe avoid Dangerous completely a stay between Unhealthy and Harmful.

Great tips Carlos77! Very helpful.

One way to make "Ducks in a Row" even easier - just max out your economy and resource production and steadily chip away at making Steam Exchangers, Structural Profiles and Steel Composites until you've got like 100 of each to be safe. Goes really fast when you just completely ignore the generator and focus on your economy then put it on "speed 3" and build everything in a 5-10 minutes.

Then just build all the generator parts in series and rush them all in a single day, or even before lunch time on one day lol. You can even build three parts at a time while rushing. Maybe you'll get lucky and be the fifth person in the world to also get "A for Effort" to proc for you too. Good luck!

Hello guys,

Not great not terrible is full bugued. It is impossible for me to do it. I tried at least 5 times now, full run, only to do this achievement.

I don't even used safety button to reduce danger by 1, only used vents and short rotation when needed. I went worker way each time. I monitored every single minute the generator construction safety, I disable others building when not needed, I even disable generator sometimes.

What am I doing wrong ? Saving too often ? Please help going crazy with that

You probably have some workers on safe buildings. It must be healthy or harmfull always for the achievement to unlock.
Zweihander Feb 16, 2020 @ 12:52pm
Bro I swear I monitored every building every day, I'm sure 100% that none of them went safety or dangerous
