Tesla city outpost are superior to anything, but then on you that you need more
More iron than what you can extract with 2 advanced iron mines is also often required.
For food, you can always build more building especially if you get cores.
Same for coal, if you need more, make more thumpers.
If you lack population, you may have to use food and coal but that's not the optimal choice.
The steel one. Once you get it’s steel plus either food or coal based on what you need than once you get Tesla city it’s steel and cores.
Reason being steel is a fixed amount resource so you can’t get more outside of getting the outpost past what’s on the map already.
Wood you have more than enough with two wall drill spots
Food and coal you can get as much as you want so long as you got labor and if you have steel and cores you have unlimited labor making it not even a question always steel and cores.
More steel and cores = more automatons working on thumpers and gathering posts.
There is no point to heat outposts no one works there.
Unless the building has a slider to place workers there you have no reason to heat it other than care houses. Other than houses obv.
Outposts the workers are working far from the city the outpost is only a lift they use when returning they don’t stay there.
