How to get safety equipment for the "gasses" event?
Didnt miss any pop ups and cant find anything to build or to research to get the safety equipment for this option during the event.
Very frustrating!!
Also cant find anything like this in the law trees.

How to get this equipment? ( and yes i got safety procedures ON all the time )

Keep producing the Structural supports, and whenever possible, add them to each of the internal buildings, including the parts of the generator currently under construction. Activate Safety procedures for each element under construction (it should be yellow, not white, to indicate that it's active). The research for it is in the Generator Construction panel of the Research.

The first disaster is scripted in such a way that you cannot both save everyone AND preserve work, so you have to choose something that you'll lose (people or progress), and that will in turn prompt the big decision on whether to side with Workers or Engineers.

Nope this event is after all that, and if you read my post all your suggestions i am already doing so that is NOT it

I sided with the workers by the way, this event what i am talking about is many days after the choice for workers or engineers.

I read your entire post. Since you didn't specify a particular day and used "gasses" as a description of an event, it's hard to understand what you're referring to. Have a nice day.

You can get safety equipment by making 5 of those pump parts in the machine shop

it isn't enough you need to have the safety procedures on green, get a vent plant and use structural profiles to improve safety. I actually used 2 venting plants in my playthrough and they made a difference even if it shows only plus one it is actually more.

Not sure what are you talking about. There are a bunch of safety related events. The accident events generally checks the work safety. There are generally four options:
1. Lose workers but save generator capacity
2. Lose generator capacity but save workers
3. If you are safe enough, you get injured and crippled workers (generally around 5 crippled and 10 or so injured)
4. If you have the highest safety level, you get injured workers, you don't even need the medical leave/prosthetic law.

If you are talking about the protective structures research, you have to use some structural profiles to make the workplace temporarily safer.

If you side with engineers, safety is much easier because of the new building... but you will get more strikes. (I did the no coal running equipment, so no vent when siding with engineers)
If you side with workers, even with 3 vent you can still be at risk.

People won't be striking when the overseers point guns at them.

Its the event with four option:
1 close the cave and save your men but loose generator capacity ( not an option! )
2 let the cave open and your people die ( if i can avoid this please!! )
3 Use safety equipment ( greyed out , that is the question how can this become an option? )
4 Use escape route ( greyed out, only an option if conditions are safe , not possible for me at this point )

So how do i get 3 as an option, i got 20 steam exchangers on stock, 3 steam cores, 20 structural thingy's ( wood ) and everything researched almost what am i missing?

There is a dialog that can pop up shortly after the beginning of each construction, it mentions concerns over "rumblings in the deep" or something and recommends building the safety equipment just in case. It costs 5 steel composites, and includes a "remind me later" option in case you don't have the composites ready.

I'm not sure what triggers the dialog, if it's just random or, more likely, based on current safety level.

I'm pretty sure when you side with engineers you get a dialog option to produce safety equipment after you have selected some safety inspection laws. haven't done workers path yet.

Every time you put another part of the generator, there will be a disaster event. The 4 options you have in dealing with them is dependent on your current safety level in that part being built. The lower most option is the best, but only available if safety level is at "safe".
