The Last Autumn- Core went on strike and never stopped so I ended up being fired.
As my title says, I was working on my core when an event popped up, I handled it and despite all my generator buildings being "safe", the core went on strike and never came off of strike and so I ended up getting fired.

When I clicked on the core it just said they were on strike, nothing ever popped up to fix or end the strike, I have 0 discontent and motivation was past the first bar. I had only 8 people in a house, hearty meals, a bath and a church at all my houses. The strike went on for 6 days when I hit the deadline and was fired (I missed the first deadline by 1 hours which is why I was fired for this deadline). Prior to the strike I was ahead of schedule, building with the max people allowed.

Anyone else have that happen?

There should be a "Negociate" button when clicking on the core.

Any time any building is on strike, there should be a negotiate button visible when you click on the building. It will present several options for ending the strike. These options typically involve raising workplace safety or passing laws, like the ones you already mentioned having (Bathhouse, Comfortable Lodging, etc.)

This Negotiate button dissapeared on me once. Reloading the game helped.

Same thing happened to me one playthrough. I had 20-something workers on the core, and they went on strike, but I had no negotiate button and no other options to do anything about the strike. It was like....workers on strike, and that's it. Nothing I can do. The workers just sat there on strike until I got a game over for missing the deadline.

I didn't think to try reloading a save (not that it would've mattered there because I hadn't saved recently, so I was kinda screwed on that playthrough either way). I'll remember to save more frequently and try reloading one next time that happens.

Thanks, it must be a bug because when I clicked on the core there was no option to do anything. I kept playing and waiting hoping that something would pop up like a demand because I was ahead of schedule but nothing.

I will load an earlier save of my game and hope it doesn't happen again!

This happened to me as well. That's 2 hours of gameplay gone.

disapearing user interface is a known bug, when it happens, save and load and it's usually fixed.
I've had the entire tech tree disappear during TLA scenario, saving and reloading worked there as well.
I can confirm that I had the same issue. After loading the last autosave however the breakstrike/negotiate buttons were now available and I was able to continue with my game.
