"Not great, not terrible" achievement lol
P. funny reference to Chernobyl, problem is I can't get this cheevo. I played an entire run just for that one, paid close attention to the safety level but no dice.

Anyone got it or is it bugged?

Same happened to me but if you have an accident when at dangerous the pop up shows it happened since the place is deadly so think it’s bugged thinking dangerous is deadly as far as accidents go so this may also be breaking the achiv also so need to stay at harmful or the mid level. Prob is the safe side might do the same making you need to stay at the middle always so I’m thinking I’ll do on easy and just use super charge to do it save before placing working on at harmful super charge let them work for the day remove and keep going if no change if was a change reload and remove before the change repeat for each day. On easy quite easy to stay ahead using just super chargers.

Well I did play on easy and used superchargers all the time. I did notice the safety of one of my Machine Shops kept going up and down seemingly randomly. I always kept it in the middle though, at least I thought so. At this point I'd bet it's a bug because I was really careful with this run.

So I tried everything possible, going back into my saves as I could, being SUPER careful with keeping my safety in the middle....aaand nothing. I'm p. much 100% sure I haven't made a mistake, it must be a bug.

Vary possible i'm going to try again later in the day doig my methiod mentioned with super chargers only and never doing anything not dead in the middle. As got to do the deathless still also that got all the achivs.

Other than endless gen malfuntion that i'm sure is bugged as i cant see any other way to get another malfunction did it twice.

I don't think you can get achievements on Easy.

Unless the achievement mentions otherwise ALL achievements can be done on any diff.

I got the acheivement, if you arent getting it its probably because when the toxic gas ticks up or down at the beginning of a day and your workers are employed in an either safe or deadly worksite. IDK if they have to be working when it is in either condition, or if its simply employed before you tick off different settings to raise or lower the safety level.

The way I went about doing it is by removing everyone from the worksite at night, waiting for whatever change in gas was going to happen, and then re-adding the workers to the site. Shoot for the !! conditions, as that is 2 levels between safe and deadly, so you are less likely to get taken by surprise when the conditions change

Did you remove workers right before the shift end so the danger level doesn't suddenly plummet due to like the vents going off or the inspection facility turning off? The only thing I can think of preventing the achieve is they don't have to be working during a change, which is cruel if true.

I'm p. sure that's the trick. I'm almost certain I haven't made a mistake but I did leave my dudes working during the toxicity changes and I did notice a few tiny weird glitches.

I just got it via keeping the vents on 24 hours and going heavy on coal production so there was no risk of time the workers are sitting there with the vents of no matter how small it was. Made it so no jumps back and forth adjust each day to be !! as the gas only goes up or down one level at a time so never suprizes you.

Take two shift and can work 24 on the gen also. Esp with the cut in labor. Even if not fully staffed the extra time is worth it and keeps people working so never a risk of a moment between shifts messing it up.

On easy you have enough labor to do so.


That leaves only the endless malfunction gen one that i'm sure is bugged as only see it possible to get the 6 malfunctions rushing everything cant see anything else that causes more so 6 must be the most and did that already. Just made a save before the gen finishes to load once they fix.

So I did another run. To say I was super careful would be an understatement. I was obsessive. I didn't get the achievement. I don't know why. I'm drained.

As mentioned just keep the vents on 24/7 and I got it fine like that.

When you add saftey equipment safe levels go up one so need to be careful of that same with when used one of the locations drop one after the event.

The prob most def is when the vents turn on and off at the start and end of shift by keeping them on 24/7 you fix that. Or removing the workers yourself before it happens.

I never let the workplace hit dangerous also as mentioned earlyer in the thread at the dangerous level you get events of the game saying your at deadly proving the game thinks dangerous is the deadly level. As such you can’t be at safe dangerous or deadly. So just be at !! If the levels will rise tommrow so you become ! And be at ! If it will fall tommrow to become !!. This way no need to ever remove workers. I kept 24 hour shifts on regardless of workforce levels so it’s always working also to boot.

It counts all workplaces not get the gen so that includes production factory machine shop and foundary.
