You don't have to agree with those of us who are displeased, you don't have to like that we're voicing our displesure, but you do have to accept that we are allowed to voice it.
Did i say you should not be allowed to voice it? No.
This is merely a response to the countless threads complaining about how there's lack of content when half of them haven't even spent 30 seconds looking through the roadmap and my disagreement with it.
I'm saying you shouldn't complain, not that you should have that right taken away. That's a strawman of what i'm saying.
I can disagree with what you're saying but i'll defend your right to say it.
Four: the side that realises and reconises the difference between fair and unfair critism. It's 15% off and it does provide some fun hours, although i don't blame you wanting to wait for the new senario and endless mode.
You both completely miss the point i was trying to make. Everyone has the right to complain, of couse. I was critising uninformed moaning where people were surprised then they delivered exactly what they said they would weeks beforehand in the roadmap. I didn't say no-one can ever moan about this game, stop strawmanning, jesus.
I have no problem with people critising the content or lack of. It's people getting angry at the diffculty update for not being more when it was outlined in the roadmap weeks past. Critise the roadmap but don't say "is that it?!" straight after a free update when they never promised anything different.
It's like if you went to a restaurant and they stated "We'll give you some small fries", 20 minutes later small fries get served. "Is this it? Where is the burger!" It's stupid. You can argue the intial order isn't big enough but it's clear what the order was ahead of time. Stupid analogy, but i hope it gets the point across.
The Thing is, besides the pre-promised +1 Scenario, the devs have no obligation or commitment to provide any further patches or content for this game. Just like some other random game you can buy on the PS/XboX/Steam store, what you get is what you get, you've paid for it, enjoy it (or don't).
Where I have the problem, is people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaining about free ♥♥♥♥ they are being given for nothing, the pile of seeping sewage that is the steam forums boils down to them saying "omg I don't like this free stuff you gave me that I was in no way obligated to receive in the first place"
It's like going into McDonalds, buying a Big Mac Meal, and then just as you've finished the meal, an employee comes over to you and says "here, we've done so well today, we're giving all our customers a free KitKat McFluffy!" to which the customer replies "OMFG I DONT LIKE KITKATS, YOU ARE THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER, I WANTED AN APPLE PIE FFS"
The isse is, sadly, that once they promise more marketing, the burden of proof is on them to then give us that content. If you get a boy one-get one free sale....you expect that free thing.
It's the same mindset with patches.
Once they make promises, they are, as an industry, obliged to stick with them. We are the consumers, and they are the developers.
Remember the Development Road Map that we've posted some time ago? The time has come to introduce the promised Survivor Mode to the game!"
Its so much a scam, hyping people, oh and linking their game to the store as well ;) ;)
Truth be told, they wanted people to read that first part, dont know why they set it up like they did, but its not okay.
Ofcoz people are getting mad, as soon as i did read that part, i luched the game, only to be dissapointet
what a troll
