We're still waiting for the promised mod support.
Virtual reality and Co-op , would love to see devs experimenting with the game , its really good but there is not much after you play the campaign and endless , they should either experiment with coop and such or make endless trully endless
They said in the lead up to release it's planned somewhere down the line. Here's hoping it's sooner rather than later!
Hopefully it will be good mod support.

The only reason I could think of coming back to the game at this point is mod support. I want to be a super huge city rather then the tiny town they let me have that covers like 1/4 the crater because of the arbitrary pop caps.

as far as I know endless mode doesn't have pop cap, you can get any ammount of citizen if play long enough

You won't find any more people after 600-700 population. There is a cap because otherwise the game would start to run really slow after a certain number of citizen.
600-700 is the limit in pop count. Also, just had an idea. Imagine a mod where you control only a small segment of a massive city. You can trade with other segments and if you do well enough (in killing competitors) you can get a larger segment? Maybe large events for the city and you have to do X. Just a quick idea i had.

You can still build a huge city even if the building are empty ...
Still manageable with lots of automatons to collect coal

it would be also interesting to have 2-3 cities ruled by you, lets say one has a lot of coal, but it can not produce food, another one produces food, but no coal.

This war of mine have mids and peiple keeps complaining when they are not compatible with the last update.
I dont see that happening.
