Do outpost depots require heating?

I was just wondering if outpost depots require heating. They do have a thermometer in an unheated reagion it of course shows freezing temperatures with high risk of sickness or even amputation. However the depot has no actual workforce assigned to it, just the outpost team which seems to work as a special unit rather than "regular workers".

Long story short do I need to heat this or not? My gut feeling says no but I'm not 100% sure.
