Plays out almost exactly like A New Home, but on a different map. After you survive the Great Storm you're tasked with rebuilding humanity, starting with Winterhome. You assign a mayor to watch over New London, and set out to rebuild Winterhome (Or whatever the name of the second city is on the new map).
The new city would have it's own Book of Laws, and there would be another Book of Laws to goven all cities. However, since it's assumed everyone who wasn't in New London froze during the Great Storm the new city wouldn't take place over days like the original, but over months and years. You'd not only have to manage resources, but also birth rates and migrations between cities. The Laws would be handled by the Book of Laws that govern all cities.
Additional situations would be finding another City that survived the Great Storm, but they went over The Line and now you're in conflict with them and must resolve it by any means necessay. Either peacefully, or forefully.
Every few years there'd be another Great Storm to shake things up, and over time you'll have more cities to manage with an ever expanding map. Until finally you'll have a whole country.
This is basically my idea of how an Endless mode would play out.
Isnt this basically any civ game? Ive not played any but it sure sounds similar
I was thinking something similar to Spore. Where you'd have different era or whatever and each one would be different.
Reactor is dead, only hope is to repair one of the ships/steam trains and go to another city before temperature falls too low.
But not only surviving is enough, you need to "buy" your entry to the new city by hoarding X resources for each people. (or go to war with them but again, need resources to battle ^^).
And at same time more survivors are coming....
so how many you will be able to save? :).
