Where have cannibalism gone?

Prob removed as it does not fit the theme of the game. Or maybe balance issue who knows. Either way it's not in the game.

They still kept the event where you can find a group of survivors from Winterhome if i am not mistaken, who survived thanks to cannibalism.

That sucks anyway. I also doubt that it can't be balanced in a single player game. Something fishy here.

Would love to hear what dev team representative could say.

That option is in the game. If I recall correctly, we need to select one of food options first and also body field dump NOT cemetry to obtain dead bodies.

I do wonder what we would be called out at the end if we go canibalism. lol

Don't think that's it. You can use organ transplantation to heal the sick faster. There's also one when you can use the bodies as fertilizer, but nothing on cannibalism.

Let me repeat again... The canibalism option is behind one of the FOOD options.

In that case, i i just finished the game, and there was no such option behind soup.

Yes, looks like it has been removed unfortunatelly. I just played the game where tried to find it, and couldn't find it anywhere in Adaptation tree. In demo it was behind the food option, now it's not there. There are also no such an option behind corpse disposal.

Sad, especially when other games have cannibalism and have no problems with it.

The game is about choice and crossing or not crossing 'the line'. Players should be allowed to choose how far they want to go to have the city survive and this one just seems like a very obvious thought for a society that is about to die.

Cannabailism isn't in there from what I've seen.

HOWEVER, there is a semi-similar option which is hidden behind the Corpse Dump option. Corpse Dump leads to Organ Transplants leads to using bodies as fertilizer for Hothouses to increase food production.

It's not quite as grim as your people becoming cannabals, but when you think about it, it's still a pretty grim option to be eating food that's been grown in the bodies of your relatives and friends.

You have to have the body dump, soup and have people die of starvation. It will trigger an event which will allow cannibalism.

well, other game such as rimworld still support cannibalism, and people tend to be mroe upset about prostitution than cannibalism anyways.

That actually sounds like it makes more sense than it being something you can research. The way you've described sounds like it really triggers as a last ditch effort, which would match cannabalism in the real world as well (at least when talking about contemporary western values).

It wasn't soup, soup was just a way of using broth and water to stretch meals. I agree though if were gonna go to the bottom of mans will to survive then every option should be available in the law book.
