I somehow broke the promise to heat all homes??
I had 2 Steam Hubs running in two locations and they were running for maybe 1 or 2 days. On Day 10 the temperature dropped to lvl 1, and soon as that happen I got msg saying I broke the promise. I don't see how I could've avoided that and the tents were in the circle of the Steam Hubs. My generator still has the basic options so maybe by upgrading it to heat to level 2 radius would've fixed it?

Heat all Homes means make all homes warm so if its gets colder you need even more heat.
Multiple steam generators have no effect (at lest it dont in my testing. Only way to get 2 or more heat is via the big generator.
The other way is to upgrade house type add +1 warmth per level and theres the house insulation upgrade that gives an extra +1 warmth to all house types.

Had the same happen to me. Had all tents upgraded to bunkers, had steam hubs everywhere , everyone was living comfortable expect a few who were a level below that and then one hour before the timeline finished the cold droppd by 2 levels and I "broke my promise". Man...

I think the system has a bug where it doesn't take into accont your existing infrastructure for this. So ou have to destroy and rebuild everything despite being 'comfortable'

never try to heat homes, its always a trap. 90% of the time its pops is right before a temp drop, instantly failing it almost every time

Allright... becus if you upgrade the building from tent to bunkhouse the inhabitants will get homeless thus aother promise broken. ^^
Don´t mind failing sometimes it´s realy balanced and some early mistake will eventually bite you in the ... later.

If you want to to fullfill the promise how about hoarding lots of coal, dreh?

Besides: i broke this promise like ten times but since i am infailable source of ultimate truth ... who cares? xD!

I believe, it means heat via generator. So they have to fall within the generator radius. Overdrive does not count as it is a limited option that is not permanently sustainable. They must all fall into "livable," condition.

Dont you have to keep it up for a day? Comfortable for a day.

Yeah you gotta keep the heat running for a day and few hours I think. What's annoying is that as soon as you turn off the heater, you straight away broke the promise. It's not like their gonna freeze to death in a second when I just turned off the overdrive and the heat is slowly coming down so whislt that is happening they still have few seconds of warmth.

This This This This This. Only do it if you can do it right away and there isn't a temp drop in the next 3 days. Heat has to be maintained for at least 2 days.
