Is it worth it?
So, I read some reviews for the game and it keeps saying that the game is short and just not worth the price. I obviously want a new game, something with building but if there are any better games out there I'd rather go for that. But if this game is dope I really wanna play it as well, so is the game worth the 30 euro price stamp on it or should I wait and see if it gets any cheaper soon?

Cheers

Ppl are just saying 'it's short' because it has an ending, and you can't continue your colony forever. Short is the wrong word for things, and I would attribute that classifer to being thrown around by those expecting an unlimited sandbox.
You can play the game over and over. It's like Tropico 5 in that way, only your goal is survival rather than do a certain task by X date. You also have scenarios and more are coming soon. The game is really unique, and it's also hard. The building is slow paced, with everything you place costing you precious resources. I wouldn't really think oif this as much of a city builder in traditional terms. Not like city skylines.
I think this is a really fun experience and before you know it, you're money is well spent. If you are looking for a casual game with cool steampunk graphics and wanting to make a city the way you built it up in your mind, you won't be doing that. You find yourself placing the things the people want, and that they need before the next big cold comes.

Alright, thanks for the input, I like some sort of continuation rather than meeting an end after a while so I will consider it for sure :D

i'm the same as you, but it really seems like they will add that at some point (cant see why they wouldnt) so I decided to just buy it now. It's pretty fun so far, and 3 scenarios should keep us cusy for a little bit.

Yeah that's true, I'd rather just go for soemthing longer for now just to have something. But I would love it if they made Frostpunk like it is but it keeps going after the big storm thingy, but then it can come again and again and again :D
