Report a translation problem
Some people might not eat at all because of shift. It happened to me sometimes with emergency shift.
I don't know the game very well yet but from what I understand hungry people will go eat when they have free time.
If they work it's not possible, and the same if they do another activity (burying the dead for example, or building).
But normally as soon as they aren't employed anywhere they will go eat.
If you want them to go eat during the day you can remove them from their workplace
