Why is everyone so privileged in post-apocalyptic society?
I don't understand why all these people act like they are above eating soup or packing into the medic place... Like y'all just trekked across the tundra but when you get here you're gonna complain about eating soup..?

I just think that's a bit unbalanced, like people actually suffering would not complain like this.

This soup you speak of is half full of sawdust and you'd only eat it if the alternative was to die of starvation. If you were to find any meat in the thin gruel, you'd best not think about it's origin... you don't see many animals around do you ;)
Gawd... you make em work for 14 hours straight for which you offer them no pay and a bowl of melted snow and sawdust... and expect them to love you for it too.
Who's the privileged one here? ;p

Hmm reminds me of another group of people who trekked vast distance only to cry, demand and complain.

You are too young and never heard about the "popular soup?"
Soup is made for poor and making your citizen drinking soup its easy to manage with the hope

The 'soup' you're giving your people is not the same as the soup you can buy from the supermarket.
It is mostly water, probally from melting the snow.

It doesn't have to have sawdust. And you have hunters and greenhouses, what are those making (especially the hothouses) if not true soup ingredients.

I feed my fully populated city with the meat my 6 flying hunter ships can bring in daily. And while I have made some effort to gentrify and tart up the place, I still don't consider my city privileged enough yet to indulge in hothouse veggies.
And so they will eat soup and like it ;)

The idea behind soup is to fill the stomach with minimum amount calories - filled volume of stomach creates impression of being fed. Of course people complain because it is only temporary measure and you become hungry again very quickly.
Just do what I do and form a dictatorship and pretend your papa Stalin that way anyone that questions you or your soup is an enemy of the state and is thrown in the ГУЛАГ

Because by the time of the apocalypse SJW's have spread throughout the world, and there is no one normal left to save them. Well, except the Leader of course.
