gamepad sensitivity does nothing
Setting it to 0.1 or 5 has no difference, it's too slow to be playable no matter which option you pick.

It's been tested and worked on our end. What kind of controller do you have?
It's an Xbox Elite Series 2. Other games work just fine with it. Closing and opening the game again also didn't change anything, it's like the game is stuck in a very low value and just isn't updating the sensitivity when I move the slider.

Just to confirm, this in ingame horizontal movement correct? The menu mouse is not affected.

It shouldn't be an issue with a particular controller, but I'll look into it more if that's the case.
The menu mouse isn't affected, it's the in-game camera movement.

It affects every single controller I tested, including: Xbox Elite Series 2, Horipad Steam Controller, an actual Steam Controller, and a MOGA XP Ultra. I then tried regular mouse look sensitivity without a controller, and that bar also seemed to do absolutely nothing; mouse remained overly sensitive regardless of how high or low I set the setting. Doesn't matter if I set it from the main menu or ingame.
Assuming this link doesn't get filtered out, here's a video of what I'm experiencing. You can see that even at 5, I'm having that super slow camera turn, and putting it down to 0.1 doesn't make it any slower or anything, just stays at the same rate.

Thanks for the video, I'm going to attempt some fixes for you and update the game. I'll get back to you.
Thank you for being so quick to respond, I'll try out the future patch soon as I can :]

Hey there, just want to let you know I was able to replicate this issue, and I'm working on pushing out a fix today at some point.
Great to hear! I look forward to diving in once it's fixed, thanks again for your great work.

Ok, an update just dropped. You may need to exit and reload Steam for the update to take effect. I've reworked Gamepad sensitivity, it now overrides smoothing which could cause problems for some people. This should fix it, if not I may need to rework things further. Please let me know.
Hey there! It actually does work now, but introduced a new bug.

- This was true before too, but the sensitivity resets to 5 every time you exit the game and come back; the value doesn't get saved.
- It's more noticeable now because 5 is actually 50 now. It displays as 5, but I was suddenly having crazy sensitivity when I loaded in, and moving the slider down made it jump 5 -> 49, and it goes on a scale from 1 to 300.

Ok, there was a small oversight when making the new values save. I'll be updating this shortly. I also did change the values so they're whole numbers, giving a wider range of values to pick from. I just dropped the update for this, it should all work properly now. Let me know.

I figure the values saving update isn't in yet, so that's to be expected. The sensitivity does adjust as expected, it's just that values are sort of way too massive now. ~13 is a playable number, but now there's 300 to choose from, and even the default is now too extreme since it's 50. So someone will load in and their camera will start swinging crazy since the default value is too high. The sensitivity adjustment does work though, as you can see!

I did put the values much higher, 50 is actually 0.05, it just displays as 50. On my end as well as the playtesters 50 (or 0.05) is very normal, but I can lower the display value to be smaller.
Ah, I see. I think the display itself is fine then, there must just be something about my setup that makes the default sensitivity too extreme? I'm not sure that that'd be, but since I can lower it now, that's okay. It is difficult to get exact values moving the bar with the left joystick, since you can't really be precise with a sliding bar using a joystick. Wish there were little arrows on either side I could tap to increment/decrement by 1. That aside though, once the patch pushes that lets the value save properly I think the issue should be resolved, since I'll only have to set it once anyways!
