After your first playthrough a small pop-up will appear in the bottom left corner of the main menu. If you click on it you'll get a gift of 20 Butt Crates and that achievement. Let me know if do get it!
Currently I have set the drops at every 10 minutes, 5 times per day. But again, I'm gonna be tweaking those numbers. I'm experimenting with it! The price of the crates in the Market almost at the bare minimum so I'm seeing what I can do about it, because that's no bueno for me.
I'm also gonna update the game later with a drop checking counter, for added transparency to you.
i may be the one skimming the $0.03 mark for the crates, the price sure went up overnight though
This is the current drop setup[i.imgur.com]
The way Steam calculates when a day has finished/started is not known to me, but the drops is something that Steam handles, not me, so you can trust that at the end of the day, the drop rate will be true.
new day and box dont dropped((
Perhaps you have to wait 24 hours since your last Crate dropped? Honestly that's something Steam handles more than me. I'll explain how it works:
The game client (you) asks the Steam servers every five minutes "Can I get Crate now?", and Steam replies by either sending a Butt Crate directly to your inventory, or with a "No". I cannot manually give crates, nor put that logic into the game, as Steam simply doesn't allow that. All I can do, is make the game ask Steam for crates. Steam will give you crates based on the rules shown in that image.

but sum is only 0.995. Where's the 0.005, Lebowski?
