I don't see any DOSBox options with the Steam purchase. All I see is a Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.exe as well as a sub folder containing INDY256.EXE. Should I separately run DOSBox and point to INDY256.EXE?
I know how to modify the configs for DOSBox; however, I purchased this game through Steam and have been running it through steam. Are you suggesting I run DOSBox independent from the Steam exe and point it to the Indy256.exe with my own settings?
By local files I assumed you meant "...Steam/steamapps/common/Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" but I can't find any DOSbox.conf file to edit. There is a suspicious file with a .vdf extension, when I opened that in notepad there is a line that says smooth graphics '1'. I tried setting that to 0, but it didn't have any effect. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Alt-S works, by the way.
Wow... can't believe no one could answer this post... Yes, there are filters on. Run the game windowed and then from the game's menu bar, select preferences and turn off smoothing. Viola.
Thanks for this, did the trick!
The Steam version uses some other kind of filtering. IMHO, the ugliest one.
Myself, I prefer HQ2x on 1366x768 / HQ3x on FullHD on ScummVM, it looks pretty beautiful for me.
